Columns and rows cover the ground.   Equally spaced, repetitive shadows from the falling sun, the same flag covering each and every one.  Underneath each patriotic symbol is a casket, within each casket a lifeless corpse of a man lost to a battle.  No story told; they all lay in uniformity, each man dead but no reason why.  Casualties of hate, lives lost to suffering, souls gone from the earth because the leader said, "march".  Each death was different, but all for the same cause so all displayed the same.  Some given metals for their heroic last breathe, but they cannot rise to accept them. The sun cast a ray of light down from the sky, illuminating the hillside.  The golden rays rained down upon the earth and shimmered off the flooded hill in a crimson sparkle.  A soft breeze flowed through the swaying grass, flowing as if blood flowing freely from a mortal wound.  With the breeze comes the strong sent of death, defeat, and victory.  The battlefield before me lays burdened with the weight of the defeated, and the victors long gone.  Such a sad sight to see so many lost, but to see the scares left of war that so few see, to look upon the slain warriors who fought bravely but lost to the stronger force, I have no regrets coming h
